About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician with EQT, you will be responsible for small to medium-sized construction projects, preventative maintenance, and repairs to gas-producing equipment and infrastructure. The selected incumbent will be placed at the I, II, III, or IV level that best suits their abilities and experience. The role involves working as part of a team and may include assisting welders as directed by management. The position requires on-call and off-shift rotation according to schedule, as well as willingness to travel.

Requirements

At least one year of experience in a related field or industry.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Basic electrical, controls, process, and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to pass a physical capabilities test, including lifting and carrying 70 pounds and walking half a mile at various inclines, to demonstrate the physical ability to perform essential job functions.
Basic knowledge of construction operations and maintenance.
Ability and willingness to travel.
Willingness to work on-call and off-shift rotation as dictated by the schedule.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of oil and gas operations.
Knowledge of pressure regulation systems and pneumatic systems.
Basic skills and knowledge of excavation equipment and capabilities.
Basic gas quality processing and conditioning skills.

Responsibilities

Work as a member of a team on small to medium-sized construction projects.
Start up and shut down well pads and assist with major equipment overhauls or replacements.
Take readings, including pressures, temperatures, volumes, and run hours, and record them in the Maximo computerized database.
Operate equipment and tools used in facilities construction.
Perform basic operational tasks such as blowing drips, emptying tanks, refilling fluids, and checking tank levels.
Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks as required.
Scope projects, prepare parts lists, and communicate with affected groups.
Complete work in Maximo and Salesforce.
Assist welders as directed by management.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on gas-producing equipment and infrastructure.
