About The Position

Our hotel team is seeking a motivated, and energetic Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance Department and be responsible for the upkeep and repair of a hotel's physical structure, equipment, and grounds.

Requirements

Have a positive energy, be ready to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player
Prior maintenance experience is preferred.
Good communication and multitasking skills.
Ability to assist in all maintenance duties
Additional education, training, or certification preferred
Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to constantly stand and walk with occasional stooping, kneeling, ascending, reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs, and preventative maintenance, to all areas of the hotel.
Service hallways, public areas, and rooms as needed along with all other tasks as assigned.
Complete all maintenance requests and tasks as assigned for the day.
Visually inspect public areas and overall resort for cleanliness, appearance, and safety.
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and for the security of the hotel inventory and assets such as tools, supplies, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests; Practice chemical safety rules and follows procedures for needles and other hazardous materials.
Report all suspicious persons, activities, or hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Manager.
Follow all Lost and Found protocols.
Maintain high standards of guest relations when in contact with the guest.
Ability to order supplies, to receive instructions for the day and/or to read equipment manuals including safety information.
