About The Position
Apex Entertainment is seeking motivated, hands-on Maintenance Technicians to join their team in Marlborough. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy fixing things, solving problems, and staying busy, taking pride in keeping equipment running safely and facilities looking their best. It offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced entertainment environment with diverse tasks, from maintaining bowling lanes, arcade games, and attractions to facility systems. The position is suitable for those with existing maintenance experience or those who are mechanically inclined and eager to learn, playing a key role in creating an exceptional guest experience while developing technical skills.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Reliable, self motivated, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and team oriented mindset
- Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation required
- Availability for flexible scheduling
Nice To Haves
- Previous maintenance, automotive, electrical, HVAC, bowling, or amusement experience is a plus, but not required
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime
- Perform preventative maintenance on attractions and facility equipment
- Service bowling lane equipment, pinsetters, arcade games, and amusement attractions
- Assist with go kart maintenance and inspections as needed
- Respond quickly to maintenance calls and operational issues
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and polished facility appearance
- Support general building maintenance and repairs
- Keep maintenance shops and work areas organized
- Clean and maintain bowling pins, lane machinery, and related equipment
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspection logs
- Identify and communicate equipment concerns before they become major issues
- Follow all company safety procedures and operating standards
- Work closely with management and team members to support daily operations
