About The Position

HVAC Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the diagnosis and repair of heating and air conditioning systems. This includes a variety of equipment such as heat pumps, air handlers, gas furnaces, ductless systems, ductwork, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, thermostats, and zone controls. The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a professional demeanor to ensure customer and coworker satisfaction. Technicians will utilize technology like iPads and sophisticated dispatch software, and must be eager to earn through performance and efficiency.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience as an HVAC Technician
Familiarity with Diagnosis and Repair of Heating & Air Conditioning systems including heat pumps, air handlers, gas furnaces, ductless systems, ductwork, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, thermostats and zone controls.
Professional and positive communication skills.
Valid Driver's License
Must live within 45 minutes of Sylva, NC
Must have or be able to quickly obtain EPA Certification to handle Refrigerants
Eagerness to earn, including the use of technology (iPad, Sophisticated dispatch software, etc)

Responsibilities

Diagnosis and Repair of Heating & Air Conditioning systems including heat pumps, air handlers, gas furnaces, ductless systems, ductwork, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, thermostats and zone controls.
Professional and positive communication with customers and coworkers.
Utilize technology such as iPads and sophisticated dispatch software.
Handle refrigerants (EPA Certification required, with in-house prep available).
Perform on-call duties.
Work overtime as needed.
Be available for weekend work.
