Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
3 years in Maintenance experience.
1 year in area of expertise (e.g. Electronics, Electricity, Refrigeration, Machinist, Machine Repair, Millwright).
Must be available to work 8 hour shifts on a regular schedule.
Must be available to work overtime as needed.
Must be available to work weekend, holidays, and on any shift (day, evening or night).
Must join the local 498C UFCW union.

Nice To Haves

Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or Trade Certificate preferred
Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility or regulated environment strongly desired.

Responsibilities

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment in completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, establishing personal network.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Completes any other duties/responsibilities assigned by senior management.
