About The Position
Trellis Management is seeking a reliable, "can-do" Maintenance Technician to join their Proctor team. This is a stable, part-time position for a 45-unit apartment community in Proctor, responsible for ensuring residents have a safe, clean, and functional place to live. The role involves unit turnovers and repairs, systems maintenance (boilers, furnaces, plumbing), preventative care, and on-call grounds upkeep including snow removal.
Requirements
- 1+ year of mechanical or basic maintenance experience (Plumbing, Appliances, Electrical, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Solid understanding of general repair techniques
- Valid Driver's License, insurance and a reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Comfortable bending, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Boiler license
Responsibilities
- Prepping units for new residents
- Handling daily work orders
- Managing boilers, furnaces, and plumbing
- Conducting quality checks for preventative maintenance
- General maintenance and essential snow removal
