About The Position
Centurion is the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. The company is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to join its team at Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. This role involves drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger sticking for blood sugars, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients within a correctional healthcare environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified as a Phlebotomist with verifiable formal training and on-the-job experience as a Phlebotomist
- Current CPR
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification/license preferred, not required
- Corrections experience preferred, not required
