About The Position

Wisenbaker is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join their team. This critical position involves ensuring the optimal performance of automated manufacturing processes through expertise in electrical and mechanical systems. The technician will be the go-to expert on the floor, responsible for keeping machinery in top condition, supporting the success of production, preventing downtime, and troubleshooting complex systems alongside a team of skilled technicians and operators.

Requirements

• A technical diploma, associate degree, or certification in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing machinery, preferably in a fast-paced or automated production environment.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical components—comfortable reading blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery (saws, routers, CNC machines, edgebanders, sanders, paint/finishing systems, conveyors, etc.).
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Use technical schematics and diagnostic tools to identify root causes.
• Recommend and implement improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records to support data-driven decisions.
• Follow and enforce plant safety policies, lockout/tagout, and proper machine guarding standards.
