About The Position

At Klute, our maintenance team plays a critical role in keeping our equipment, machinery, and facilities running safely and efficiently. As a Night Shift Maintenance Technician, you'll take ownership of maintenance priorities after the day shift wraps up, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and help ensure our operation is ready for the next production day. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and having the autonomy to make decisions. You'll have variety in your work and the opportunity to make a direct impact on our operation every night.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy industrial manufacturing maintenance/repair.
  • Standing and/or walking approximately 100% of the shift
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
  • Frequent use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, and controls
  • Ability to view a computer monitor
  • Occasional keyboarding and data entry

Responsibilities

  • Review work orders and independently determine maintenance priorities.
  • Schedule and perform repairs, maintenance, and installations to support continuous production.
  • Perform preventive maintenance in coordination with operations.
  • Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment using specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
  • Inspect, test, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment.
  • Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired components.
  • Install and repair automated machinery and equipment.
  • Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines to fabricate or repair parts, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal components.
  • Repair or replace defective components; lubricate and clean equipment as needed.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and testing equipment.
  • Initiate purchase orders for parts and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.
  • Conduct routine inspections of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Address facility maintenance issues such as leaks, malfunctions, and general wear and tear.
  • Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
