About The Position

This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters. The role focuses on ensuring the safety needs are given top priority in work planning and preserving the functions of physical assets. The technician will use hand tools to perform maintenance on production machinery, conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, and ensure food safety and quality through cleanliness and housekeeping.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Nice To Haves

• Previous Cargill experience
• Mechanical, electrical, or electronic maintenance experience
• Welding Experience
• Work history in the last 12 months with at least 6 months of maintenance experience
• 1-2 years’ industrial maintenance experience or a minimum 7-month technical training
