About The Position

Lake Country Dairy is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance work throughout its 24/7 hard Italian cheese manufacturing plant in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. The role works overnight from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with full-time work scheduled across 3–4 days per week. Maintenance work includes electrical tasks, welding, equipment repair, pneumatics, pump repair, motor troubleshooting, advanced mechanics, wastewater controls, computerized operating systems, HVAC, and high-pressure steam systems. PLC knowledge is a plus.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of maintenance experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience is required.
• Ability to work independently, with strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Good communication skills and a strong sense of urgency in resolving problems.
• Focus on performing quality work.

Nice To Haves

• Food industry experience is preferred.
• PLC knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance work throughout the 24/7 cheese manufacturing plant.
• Carry out electrical work and welding.
• Repair equipment, pumps, and motors; troubleshoot motors and perform advanced mechanical work.
• Work with pneumatics, wastewater controls, computerized operating systems, HVAC, and high-pressure steam systems.
• Drive root-cause solutions and perform quality work.
