About The Position

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is hiring a Multicraft Maintenance Technician at its Ashland, Ohio manufacturing facility. The role involves industrial maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and working with production and maintenance teams. The position is offered on second or third shift, with hourly pay of $29.24–$41.30 based on skills and experience, plus a shift differential. PCA provides paid training and advancement opportunities.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multicraft skills.
Ability to work an assigned second- or third-shift schedule.
Ability to work extended hours and occasional weekends.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Technical degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, or a related area.
Experience in corrugated packaging, printing, converting, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Diagnose equipment breakdowns and restore equipment quickly and safely.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
Work closely with production and other maintenance team members.
Build technical skills through paid training and advancement programs.
