About The Position

We are a global plastic solutions provider that designs and manufactures complex components & systems serving the future of the automotive industry. Novares is looking for its Manufacturing department his/her future 2nd or 3rd shift Maintenance Technician (M/F), located in FELTON FE-PL.

Requirements

• Must have a good working knowledge of industrial technology
• Ability to diagnose problems for true root cause and implement effective countermeasures
• Must have time management and planning skills
• Effective time management and planning skills.
• Associate degree from an accredited college, university, or technical school or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controller.
• Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers such as machine repairer and Tool Maker to diagnose malfunction.
• Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors and positions sensing devices. Replaces electrical motor bearings and rewires motors.
• Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electrical components such as printed circuit boards.
• Works with robot controllers, teach pendant, and programmable controller to program automated machinery, such as robots, to operate automated machinery to test for malfunctions and to verify repairs.
• Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
• Additional duties maybe assigned as needed.
