About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician I at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you will assist in providing our Owners/guests with experiences and events to make memorable vacation memories, where meaningful moments are made together. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, minor building repairs, responding to guest requests, and general engineering-related inventory duties. You will also participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development. A key aspect of this role is contributing to the guest experience by welcoming and greeting guests, anticipating and addressing their needs, and interacting professionally with colleagues and guests. You will also contribute to team goals and adhere to company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
Valid driver’s license required.
Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Performs Villa Care Preventive Maintenance tasks as assigned (e.g., basic painting, basic repairs like replacing lightbulbs, performing temperature readings on appliances/HVAC).
Performs minor building repairs as assigned.
Responds and attends to guest repair requests.
Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.
Participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development as applicable.
Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
Contribute to team goals.
Always follow company policies and safety procedures.
