Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to do basic math
• 2+ years’ experience in industrial maintenance, utilities and/or related field
• Prior training and education in the following: OSHA 10 Hour, HAZMAT, ArcFlash, LOTO – Lock Out Tag Out
• 2+ years’ experience in industrial maintenance, utilities and/or related field
• Strong interpersonal skills - Listening and informing others effectively; excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction. Must be a self-motivated self-starter.
• Basic Knowledge and understanding of fasteners and thread types, belts, sheaves, chains, sprockets, bearings, lubrication standards and applications.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems including cylinders, valves, manifolds, vacuum systems, air filtration and lubrication devices.
• Basic knowledge of pipe fitting, insulation, rigging applications, use of mechanical tools, hand tools, and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CMMS to support the maintenance function including review, execution, and documentation of scheduled/unscheduled work daily
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, incorporate safety and health in all jobs/tasks by taking personal responsibility to ensure a safe and health workplace
• Respond in an efficient and effective manner to urgent production needs related to equipment
• Adhere to Quality work practices, follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality is maintained. Ensure that all policies, procedures, and activities related to Food Safety and Quality are followed and complied with, in effort to reduce process variability.
• Effectively read and understand diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications in order to disassemble, repair, replace, rebuild, and install mechanical equipment.
• Perform other maintenance related tasks as needed to support the continuous operation of the plant as a whole.
