Requirements

  • 1-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Welding and fabrication skills (MIG, Stick, TIG as applicable), including cutting, fitting, and repairing steel components.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and structural issues on production equipment and precast forms.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Basic computer skills for work orders, maintenance tracking, and reporting.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulatory standards.

  • Relevant technical or vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and corrective maintenance on precast concrete production equipment, forms, molds, and material handling systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical and structural issues and complete welding and fabrication repairs to restore equipment to safe operating condition.
  • Fabricate, modify, and repair precast forms, embeds, racks, lifting devices, and equipment components as part of ongoing maintenance support.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and specifications to execute maintenance repairs and custom builds.
  • Cut, fit, assemble, and weld carbon steel components used in precast manufacturing operations.
  • Support preventive maintenance efforts by identifying wear, fatigue, and weld failures common in heavy precast environments.
  • Assist with installation, alignment, and modification of repaired or newly fabricated components on production equipment.
