We are seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance to join our team.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous maintenance experience required ( multifamily/apartment maintenance strongly preferred )
HVAC experience required
HVAC Certification strongly preferred
EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
Must have basic maintenance tools and reliable transportation
Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Complete resident service requests and work orders in a timely, professional manner
Perform preventive maintenance and general apartment repairs
Prepare vacant apartment homes for move-in readiness ( make-readies / apartment turns )
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair: HVAC systems, Plumbing systems, Electrical issues, Appliances, Carpentry and drywall repairs
Maintain community grounds, amenities, and common areas
Participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotation
Maintain maintenance inventory, tools, and supplies
Follow all OSHA safety standards and Fair Housing regulations
