Requirements

Mechanical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment efficiently.
Valid driver's license with a clean record.
On Call requirement on a rotating basis.
Physical capability to perform essential job functions.
Ability to pass state mandated background check.
Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, staff, and families.

Nice To Haves

Painting Experience Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform general building maintenance including painting, patching repairs, floor care, and remodeling to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Inspect and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to optimize safety and comfort for residents and staff.
Inspect and repair hot water heaters, softeners, plumbing equipment, and pool systems, including monitoring pool chemistry when scheduled.
Maintain and troubleshoot fire safety systems, generators, sprinkler systems, and alarm panels, ensuring compliance with Life Safety Code procedures.
