About The Position

Container Research Corporation, an AS9100 certified company with over 65 years in business, seeks a maintenance mechanic/technician. The technician will handle both preventative maintenance and urgent maintenance needs for the facilities themselves as well as equipment and machinery inside. The right candidate will have experience with welding & fabrication, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs, basic computer, measuring tool, and math skills, and the ability to keep up-to-date records. He or she must be comfortable diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems. He or she must work both inside and outside in various environmental conditions, must be able to lift and/or carry objects of greater than 50 lbs, must be able to communicate clearly, and may be requested to work overtime or weekends.

Requirements

3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
Electrical experience.
Experience with welding & fabrication, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
Basic computer skills.
Basic measuring tool skills.
Basic math skills.
Ability to work both inside and outside in various environmental conditions.
Ability to lift and/or carry objects of greater than 50 lbs.
Ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities
