About The Position

Associa is seeking a dedicated, dependable part-time Maintenance Technician to help maintain a managed property in Naples, Florida. The role supports a safe, well-maintained living environment for residents and helps preserve the value and functionality of the property. This is an hourly position paying approximately $20.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience. Part-time hours will be discussed during the interview process. The selected candidate must successfully complete a background check as a condition of employment.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and clients.
• Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, including documentation, safety, required reporting, and regulations.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, including documentation, safety, required reporting, and regulations.
• Knowledge of basic irrigation and janitorial duties.
• Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
• Knowledge of state or local governmental safety requirements.
• Ability to safely operate, climb, and work on ladders at heights of 1–2 stories (24–28 feet).
• Ability to operate a smartphone and email for day-to-day operations, basic communication, and monthly expense reports.
• Ability to operate a vehicle between locations.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• At least 2 years of directly related or closely related experience.
• Successful completion of a background check as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep building systems operating efficiently and prevent the physical condition of buildings from deteriorating.
• Perform carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs to maintain the building.
• Clean and repair building fixtures, including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems and equipment as needed.
