About The Position

The Maintenance Technician supports Bozzuto’s residential communities by resolving service requests, completing preventative maintenance, preparing vacant apartments for move-in, and maintaining the appearance and safety of the property. The role includes repair work involving HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and appliances, as well as general upkeep, cleanliness, snow removal, and grounds maintenance. The technician provides residents with outstanding customer service and is available to work weekends or evenings and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. After 12 months of employment, the employee is eligible to earn an EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification paid for by Bozzuto. The position offers additional bonus opportunities and a salary range of $52,000–$54,000 USD.

Requirements

• Experience in building maintenance or education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Availability for property emergencies, including participation in an on-call rotation.
• Ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
• Personal, reliable transportation to commute to work and respond to on-call emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A sharp professional appearance.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using software, apps, and computer programs.
• A service mentality and a desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Resolve resident service tickets and perform preventative maintenance.

• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain the beauty and safety of the property through general upkeep, cleanliness, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
