About The Position
As a Maintenance Technician at Pratt Industries, you’ll be a key player in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility. You’ll maintain and repair the machinery that turns recycled paper into corrugated boxes used in everyday products – from pizzas at Domino’s to Amazon deliveries and moving supplies from Home Depot!
Requirements
- Troubleshooting of 3-Phase power/electricity
- AC/DC Motors and Motor Starters
- Gearboxes/Gear Reducers
- Basic knowledge of PLCs & VFDs
- Hydraulics and Pneumatic Systems
- Ability to read a tape measure and apply basic high school-level math
- Ability to follow written, oral, or graphic instructions and apply common-sense reasoning
- A set of screwdrivers, wrench sets (Metric & Standard), socket sets, hammers, and more
- High-quality tools from brands like Craftsman, Gearwrench, and Channellock
Nice To Haves
- Experience with electrical instrumentation
- Ability to troubleshoot logic controllers/VFDs online
- Knowledge of Boiler/Steam systems
- Welding/Fabrication skills
- Conduit Bending & Machining (Lathe, Mill, Press, etc.)
- Industrial Safety experience
- Pipe wrenches, tap & die sets, welding gloves & helmet, machinist tools, and more
