About The Position

Install, maintain, and repair all Terminal instrumentation and electrical systems and other operating equipment. Perform maintenance and repairs on all items associated with the facility. This position requires the employee to work with and near various petroleum and chemical products. May participate in emergency response activities. Comply with all applicable Local, State, and Federal Safety Regulations, Company Policies, Operating Procedures, and Company Rules and Guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must possess a TWIC or be able to obtain one within 90-days from hire date. Must maintain TWIC for duration of employment.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and perform English written instructions and procedures.
  • Mathematical proficiency in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions.
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks for long periods of time in various types of weather.
  • Ability to perform job requirements while wearing various types of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must be able to climb stairways and get in and out of vessels and containers of various size and configuration.
  • Must be able to walk long distances at one time.
  • Must be able to work at various heights.
  • Must be able to squat and bend numerous times daily.
  • Must be able to lift substantial weight on a routine basis (approximately 50 lbs.).
  • Understands that safe work performance and leadership is a primary job requirement.
  • Promotes a zero tolerance safety attitude.
  • Follows all Company safety rules and policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial instrumentation and electrical experience, in-house maintenance technician, preferred.
  • Ability to operate company's rolling equipment.
  • Ability to use CAD System for electrical and instrumentation drawings.
  • Experience with PLCs, Allen Bradley and/or Honeywell PLC.
  • Experience in coordinating new construction activities with internal and external engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to carry out responsibilities associated with electrical and instrumentation design.
  • Ability to trouble shoot motors, motor circuits, lighting and lighting control circuits, flow systems, boilers, and associated equipment.
  • Complete understanding of National Electric Code including Article 500, 501, and 515.
  • Ability to calibrate and trouble shoot pressure transmitters, thermocouples, and differential pressure transmitters.
  • Experience with all associated test equipment.
  • Experience performing live fuse change out on high voltage high line systems.
  • Experience performing de-energized preventive maintenance on high voltage high line systems.
  • Must be available for overtime work when required and must be able to respond to call-outs as needed.
  • Must attend and participate in training courses, drills, and meetings as required.
