About The Position

Gasser Chair is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team. This position plays a critical role in keeping our manufacturing equipment and facility operating safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ideal candidate enjoys solving mechanical and electrical problems, working with a variety of equipment, and helping minimize downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Knowledge of industrial safety practices and maintenance procedures
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various manufacturing environments, including standing, climbing, bending, and working around production equipment

Responsibilities

Performing preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment
Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
Assisting with the installation, setup, and calibration of new machinery
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documenting completed repairs
Monitoring and maintaining spare parts inventory
Collaborating with production team members to quickly resolve equipment issues
Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and manufacturing efficiency
Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies
Assisting in training team members on the proper operation and basic maintenance of equipment
