About The Position

Cardinal LG, a laminated glass manufacturer in Jessup, is looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician who is dependable, has a positive attitude, and works effectively in a team environment. The work will include maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing production and facilities equipment. The hours are Monday - Friday, with a 10-hour rotating schedule from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM, including a rotating 4-day weekend. The pay rate is $22.50 per hour.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED, Technical 2-year degree or a minimum of 1 year of verifiable industrial work.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Must be able to bend, twist, squat, kneel or stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Preferred 2 years of industrial electrical, mechanical, welding, or HVAC work.

Responsibilities

Maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing production and facilities equipment.
Work on 3 phase 480VAC electrical equipment along with 240Vac, 120Vac and low voltage DC instrumentation.
Work on PLC controlled equipment.
Perform mechanical work on pneumatic systems, some hydraulics, and multiple chain drives and gearboxes.
Other duties as assigned by Manager.
