About The Position
The Maintenance Technician supports the upkeep, repair, and overall appearance of the community. The role maintains common areas, responds to maintenance requests, and helps ensure building systems and amenities operate safely and efficiently. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pay is $19–$20, depending on experience. Applicants must live within 30 minutes of the West Palm Beach area.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in common areas, including the clubhouse, guardhouses, doggie stations, trash areas, and shared amenities.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs and replace light bulbs, photo sensors, and lighting timers.
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and community grounds to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and facilities.
- Ensure pool areas, fitness centers, and other amenities are safe, clean, and operational.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work.
- Follow all safety procedures and building codes.
- Assist with emergency repairs or after-hours issues as required.
