About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and combustion equipment. This role involves performing regular preventive maintenance, operating powered industrial equipment, and adhering to safety certifications and policies. The technician will also be expected to safely use fabrication tools and work at heights.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1–3 years of maintenance/mechanical or related work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Valid US driver's license.
  • Reliable/Dependable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to consistently work long hours, including evenings, weekends, or Holidays if needed.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills for completing work orders, maintenance logs or other activities as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot faulty equipment and determine repair procedures.
  • Perform repairs on mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and combustion equipment.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance services on facility equipment.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., Forklifts, Vertical Scissor Lifts, Aerial Man Lifts).
  • Attain/maintain certifications (LOTO, Working at heights) in accordance with Company/HSE policy.
  • Attain the capability to use fabrication tools safely and correctly (Oxygen/Acetylene Torch, Plasma Cutter, Grinders, MIG/Stick welding).
  • Comfortably work at heights of more than 50ft.
  • Utilize safe habits and appropriate PPE.
  • Comply with all NOV policies.
  • Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by management.
