About The Position

This visible position is responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, and performing preventive maintenance following Menasha Packaging standards for quality and safety.

Requirements

• High School Degree or Equivalent and/or three or more years of experience in Maintenance
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulics knowledge required
• Mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload
• Effective interpersonal skills, including listening
• Attributes desired include being self-motivated, assertive, self-starter, problem-solver and results driven

Nice To Haves

• PLC and Drive Controller Equipment skills desired
• knowledge of shrink wrap equipment, balers, heat tunnels, printers, glue machines, conveyors, carton sealer, stretch wrapper

Responsibilities

• Repair and troubleshoot production equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Assist in the set-up and tear down of production lines
• Promote a safe work environment
• Inside and outside building maintenance
• Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager
• Responsible for following and complying with Company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and maintaining quality work and product
