About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician for our Norton, VA plant. This multi-craft position requires a strong mechanical background, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Journeyman apprenticeship program
Responsibilities
- Convert standard inch units to metric.
- Use general shop equipment (lathes, mills, welding equipment).
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
- Read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic blueprints.
- Perform various welding techniques.
- Repair and maintain plant instrumentation and lighting systems.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Ensure safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Assist in training and orientation of co-workers.
