Maintenance Technician-The Residences at Carmel City Center
About The Position
Pedcor Homes Corporation is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Residences at Carmel City Center. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed to help our residents and team succeed. In this role, you'll be responsible for completing service requests, performing apartment turns, maintaining the community grounds, handling general repairs, assisting with pool maintenance, keeping the shop organized, responding to emergency calls, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of apartment maintenance experience required
- Shared on-call participation required
- Weekend availability required
- Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance are required
Nice To Haves
- HVAC experience preferred
- HVAC Certification is a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional demeanor and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Completing service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Performing apartment turns, punch work, and make-readies
- Maintaining the appearance and safety of the community grounds
- Handling general plumbing, electrical, and maintenance repairs
- Assisting with pool maintenance
- Keeping the maintenance shop organized and well-stocked
- Responding to emergency maintenance calls as part of a shared on-call rotation
- Delivering exceptional customer service to residents and prospects
