Maintenance Technician 1st Shift
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician will perform routine preventive maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently. This role involves assisting with repairs, troubleshooting, and machinery installations, while strictly following safety protocols and documenting all maintenance activities. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining organized tools, accurate records, and monitoring spare parts inventory. Additionally, they will support facility upkeep, collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime, and participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems (troubleshooting electrical panels 480 and below).
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Good knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Great knowledge of safety when working around equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for minor mechanical or electrical issues.
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Experience in PLC.
Nice To Haves
- Heavy equipment including conveyor lines experience is preferred.
