About The Position

The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and preventative maintenance system and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Adjust, maintain, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • General maintenance for buildings and facilities, waste and by-product handling equipment, routine carpentry, and clean/paint machinery and work areas in shop.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Work with Engineers, planners, schedulers, and production personnel to plan, obtain materials, construct, and commission.
  • Adheres to company quality protocols and processes
  • Follows prescribed safety procedures and protocol.
  • Perform job duties in an ethical, professional manner which is consistent with the H&S handbook
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
