We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for our community, Rochester Park – an 84-unit senior community located in Brooksville, FL.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Working knowledge of light carpentry, drywall repair and texture, and painting
Comfort with troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, and mechanical issues (certification a plus or desire to obtain)
A keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset toward safety and presentation
Customer service focus with a positive, team-first attitude
Ability to multitask and shift priorities in a fast-paced, people-centered environment
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry‑specific property management and maintenance tracking systems, with the ability to accurately document work orders, manage schedules and inventory digitally, communicate efficiently, and support data‑driven decision‑making

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in property maintenance is a plus

Responsibilities

Maintain the overall cleanliness and functionality of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, and shared spaces
Ensure trash is removed regularly from office areas, community perimeters, and trash chutes/compactors
Prepare units for new residents by supporting make-ready efforts—including trash removal and minor repairs
Clean and prepare available apartments and models to our standard of excellence
Troubleshoot and repair a range of maintenance issues, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry
Assist with maintenance needs across the community and escalate larger concerns to the Service or Community Manager
Maintain curb appeal through daily visual inspections and proactive upkeep
Support emergency response efforts including hazardous weather, flooding, or fire events
Keep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and stocked
Collaborate with office staff on community projects or resident needs as requested
