About The Position

At Lineage, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the equipment and systems that keep our cold storage facilities running 24/7. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and improve the mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems that power our operation — including hands-on work with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems. You'll also help maintain and repair essential warehouse equipment, ensuring smooth operations in our fast-paced cold storage environment.

Requirements

1+ year of experience or trade school training in facility, equipment, or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia).
Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in cold storage environments, and operate tools/equipment safely.

Nice To Haves

Ammonia refrigeration certifications (e.g., RETA, IIAR, or equivalent) are a plus.
Previous experience in forklift maintenance, automotive, diesel, or industrial maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on MHE such as forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, and aerial lifts.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing effective solutions.
Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems to ensure reliable operation.
Perform preventive maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems, upholding strict safety and compliance standards.
