Maintenance Technician - 12 hr NIGHTS - $2000 Signing Bonus
About The Position
This role is responsible for troubleshooting complex equipment, reading and interpreting manuals and work orders, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives. The technician serves as maintenance in the service of the equipment to ensure optimal performance, responds to equipment process concerns, and prioritizes work orders, PM/CM as needed. Adherence to schedules and operational procedures, including safety precautions, is essential. The role involves performing safety checks, preventative maintenance, diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures, and participating in daily maintenance projects and meetings for overhauls and cleans. Follow-up checks on previous repairs are also required. The technician must report safety and operational hazards to EHS and the Maintenance Manager, maintain adequate inventory, and report on project progress. Ensuring proper care of equipment and supplies, promoting workplace safety and environmental practices, and supporting the development of short and long-range plans and Maintenance SOPs are key aspects of the position. The role also includes inspecting and recording work performed, and performing other job-related duties as assigned.

- Reporting on project progress and/or concerns, work-loads, schedules and/or interruptions
- Ensuring proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
- Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
- Providing support in the development of short and long range plans
- Supporting the development of Maintenance SOPs
- Inspecting and recording work performed

- Participate in preparatory meetings for maintenance day overhauls and cleans
- Perform follow-up checks to repairs made the previous day
- Report all Production equipment safety and operational hazardous findings to the EHS and Maintenance Manager
- Generate follow-up work orders to the appropriate department for resolution
- Maintain adequate supply of inventory for projects
- Report on project progress and/or concerns, work-loads, schedules and/or interruptions to the schedule
- Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
- Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
- Provide support in the development of short and long range plans
- Support the development of Maintenance SOPs
- Inspect and record work performed
- Perform other job related duties as assigned
