About The Position

Perform skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machinery, material-handling equipment, and building systems to keep Summit Golf Brands' facility running safely and efficiently. This role combines hands-on millwright-level mechanical work with electrical troubleshooting and plumbing/HVAC support.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on millwright skills: rigging, precision alignment, bearings, gearboxes, belts/chains, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motor controls, wiring, and troubleshooting using multimeters and other test equipment.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems common to industrial/commercial facilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under time pressure.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs., work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying facility conditions.
  • Willingness to participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule as needed.
  • Journeyman Millwright card (or equivalent industrial maintenance certification/apprenticeship) required.
  • 0-2 years of experience as a certified journeyman in an industrial maintenance role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting on industrial equipment preferred.
  • Experience with plumbing and/or HVAC systems is a plus.
  • A reliable, team-first attitude and willingness to take direction from the Facilities & Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Install, align, dismantle, and repair production machinery, conveyors, and material-handling equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical failures on equipment, escalating to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager when specialized outside support is required.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair on motors, control panels, wiring, and equipment power systems, following lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Perform plumbing and HVAC maintenance and repairs, including basic system diagnostics, part replacement, and coordinating with outside contractors for major work.
  • Execute scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on machinery and building systems per the facility's PM program.
  • Maintain an organized parts/tool inventory and communicate parts needs to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager.
  • Respond to unplanned equipment breakdowns and prioritize repairs to minimize production downtime.
  • Support facility-wide safety compliance (OSHA, fire/life-safety) in all maintenance work.
  • Assist with facility improvement projects and equipment installations as assigned.
  • Participate in a rotating weekend on-call/coverage schedule as needed to support production and facility uptime.
