Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician Level 3 or Level 4 to support our Maintenance Team on site at our ACCE Facility in Clearfield, Utah. This role will follow an A Shift, 5-9 Schedule (9-hour Weekdays). The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. The selected Maintenance Technician will perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment. Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical / Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright (for Level 3)
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical / Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright (for Level 4)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR).
  • Experience with basic electrical/mechanical Knowledge.
  • Experience with; computer, math, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician.
  • Millwright mechanic with Industrial Automation experience.
  • Electrician: Must be licensed and knowledgeable in 3 phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring and troubleshooting of such systems.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC maintenance.
  • Licensed Journeyman or Master tradesman (plumber, pipefitter, millwright, etc.)
  • Electrician: Must be proficient and knowledgeable in 3 phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring and troubleshooting of such systems
  • Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing complex electro-mechanical systems
  • Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing automated motion control systems
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC maintenance
  • Experience leading a team

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting on all equipment
  • Perform routine mechanical / electrical / electronic preventative maintenance on plant equipment, including our CNC and automated machines, Boilers, Autoclaves, HVAC systems, General lighting, Air compressors, Hydraulic systems, Overhead Cranes etc.
  • Other duties to support Maintenance Team as assigned
