About The Position
Sun Realty, a vacation home management company on the Outer Banks for over 46 years, is seeking a Maintenance Technician. This full-time, year-round role is responsible for maintaining homeowners' properties in excellent condition and ensuring a problem-free experience for guests. The technician will troubleshoot and repair issues such as plumbing, basic carpentry, drywall, and general repairs across assigned properties. They will respond to maintenance requests to keep homes guest-ready and manage daily assignments independently using a company smartphone.
Requirements
- 2+ years of general maintenance experience
- Basic carpentry skills
- Basic knowledge of residential plumbing
- A valid driver's license, held for 3+ years, with a clean driving record
- Hearing, speaking, seeing, walking, standing, sitting, driving, reaching bending climbing steps/ladders, and lifting 50-85+ pounds
- Reading, comprehension, legible writing skills and effective written and verbal communication in the English language
- Operation of basic tools and equipment
- Smart phone or similar electronic device

- Advanced carpentry or drywall/finishing experience
