About The Position
The Upton Apartment Homes is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Hollywood. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact in our community while working with a great team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience replacing AC units, repairing appliances, and installing the newest HVAC systems. Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years of residential maintenance experience including work orders and turns
- EPA Universal or Type II is REQUIRED
- Moderate to advanced electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repairs and general maintenance skills
- Energetic, responsible and organized
- A true team-player mentality is of utmost importance
Responsibilities
- Prepare or assist in preparing vacant apartments to a market ready-condition
- Respond to resident service requests (light bulb changes, HVAC, caulking, appliance repairs, filter changes, etc.)
- Perform on-call emergency service as required (on-call bonuses)
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor on special maintenance projects as needed
- Assist with keeping grounds and common areas free of trash and debris
