About The Position

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Maintenance & Facilities Technician to help keep our school facilities safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair duties to ensure the school facilities are in optimal condition.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and safely.
• Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to work effectively with school staff, maintenance teams, vendors, and community members.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
• Ability to work independently while following district policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Must successfully complete a fingerprint-based background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting.
• Conduct plumbing installation and repairs.
• Engage in grounds maintenance and care.
• Perform carpentry work and repairs.
• Install and replace floor tiles.
• Conduct cold patch roof repairs.
• Operate maintenance equipment and tools.
• Install and repair fences.
• Assemble and repair furniture and equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Repair driveways and parking lots.
• Deliver materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the district.
• Load and unload materials from trucks.
• Maintain accurate inventory and work order records.
• Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.
