About The Position

We are looking for a Maintenance mechanical Technician to undertake the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant machinery and equipment. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry
• Good understanding of mechanical systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, standard appliances, and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
• Desire to learn, ask questions.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance routines on all plant machinery and equipment, such as, motors, gearbox, pumps, etc.
• Able to perform hands-on repairs and installation of machinery parts, such as bearings, pulleys, and mechanisms.
• Knowledge of plumbing installations (CPVC and Threated).
• Strong knowledge of LOTO will be needed.
• Use of forklift, man-lift, power tools
