About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician at LEGOLAND New York Resort, you will help keep the resort clean, safe, and operating effectively for guests and employees. You will support day-to-day facility maintenance, sanitation, and upkeep, helping create memorable experiences for families visiting the resort. The role includes minor building repairs, preventative maintenance, waste collection and transport, and operation of maintenance and cleaning equipment. You will identify and report facility, equipment, or safety concerns, assist Utility Technicians with projects and specialized repairs, and complete additional maintenance assignments as needed. Work must follow company safety standards and operating procedures. The position pays USD $21.00 per hour. The physical and work environment requirements include regularly lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling more than 50 pounds; standing and walking for extended periods; and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Flexible scheduling may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to safely operate vehicles, including pickup trucks and trailers.
Ability to read, speak, and understand basic English.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions and procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform minor building repairs, preventative maintenance, and general facility upkeep.
Drive a pickup truck and trailer to support facility maintenance and sanitation operations.
Follow designated routes to collect and remove waste from back-of-house locations throughout the resort.
Transport trash receptacles and materials to waste transfer and disposal areas.
Operate leaf blowers, power washers, and other maintenance tools to maintain resort cleanliness.
Identify and report facility, equipment, or safety concerns to leadership for corrective action.
Assist Utility Technicians with maintenance projects and specialized repair work.
Support special projects and additional maintenance assignments as needed.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Ensure work is completed in accordance with company safety standards and operating procedures.
