Vitality Living of Aitkin is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of job tasks in the physical building and on the facility grounds. Requirements

Can work independently

1 year of maintenance experience

Responsibilities

Performs minor repair of all building, plant operations systems and equipment.
Repair and maintenance to resident furniture or equipment.
Performs preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis, nursing lift equipment, alarms, etc.
Participates in the maintenance of safety alarm systems throughout the community.
Coordinate major maintenance and repair with licensed contractors.
Transport residents to & from local appointment when needed.
Communication on walkie talkies.
May obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed.
