Position Summary: GTI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support facility operations and grounds maintenance at our Buffalo manufacturing campus. This role is responsible for seasonal outdoor upkeep, facility cleanliness, equipment support, and assisting the Facilities Manager with preventative maintenance and vendor coordination activities.

Requirements

  • Valid AZ Driver’s License
  • Ability to operate zero-turn lawn mowers, weed whackers, and other outdoor power tools
  • Forklift certification or ability to become certified
  • Ability to operate industrial floor sweeping equipment
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety rules and workplace safety requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in plumbing and/or electrical maintenance
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform seasonal grounds maintenance, including lawn cutting, weed whacking, leaf removal, planting, garden upkeep, and weed control
  • Remove snow and ice from walkways, driveways, and facility access areas, including salting during winter months
  • Perform trash removal and empty facility hoppers
  • Assist with preventative maintenance tracking and recordkeeping for facility equipment
  • Operate ride-on floor sweepers and facility cleaning equipment
  • Support the Facilities Manager in monitoring subcontractors and outside vendors
  • Maintain safe and organised work areas both inside and outside the facility
  • Operate outdoor power equipment and tools safely and effectively
