About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a senior living community. The Maintenance Technician helps maintain the building and grounds, supports residents and families during move-ins and move-outs, and keeps accurate records for facility systems and equipment. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Working knowledge of OSHA compliance and laws.
Construction experience coordinating building repairs.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Follow the preventative maintenance program established by the Director of Facility Management, including paint touch-ups, grounds and building readiness tours, checking lights, clearing gutters and pathways, and removing trash and debris.
Manage time effectively and complete tasks within company time frames.
Keep the building and grounds clean, immaculate, and appealing to residents, guests, referral sources, and prospects.
Maintain accurate records for systems and equipment, including fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers, fire monitoring, kitchen hood cleaning, elevator inspections, boiler permits, nurse call systems, emergency backup generators, automobiles, HVAC, and PTAC service.
Assist new residents and family members with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.
