About The Position

We're hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician to care for two well-maintained apartment communities in Edwardsville, KS. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work with experience in hands-on repair.

Requirements

• Experience in residential/multi-family maintenance preferred
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and drywall
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-starter who can manage a full workload independently
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Basic computer/data entry skills
• Must be able to lift 50lbs or more regularly, comfortable on ladders
• Comfortable standing for long periods and frequent reaching and bending
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Own hand tools and reliable cell phone

Nice To Haves

• HVAC or trade certification
• Construction/renovation background
• Experience with Rent Manager or similar property management software

Responsibilities

• Handle routine and emergency maintenance requests
• Respond to resident work orders promptly and professionally
• Turn vacant units for new residents
• Perform HVAC service and repair
• Handle light plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs
• Complete painting, drywall, carpentry, and flooring repairs
• Coordinate with outside vendors as needed
• Walk the property and post resident notices
• Keep accurate maintenance records
