About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II performs intermediate-level preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems. This role diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues, completes repairs, supports equipment installations and upgrades, and helps improve machine uptime and reliability. Works independently on routine tasks and under guidance for complex troubleshooting. Shift: Open to M-F 8 Hour shift or M-TH 4x10s. Weekend Shift: Th-Sun 6am - 4pm

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical school or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent military experience) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Basic electrical knowledge up to 480V, experience with motors, starters, relays, and VFDs.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and basic PLC ladder logic.
  • Proficient with common hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (multimeter, clamp meter).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to prioritize work under production pressure.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident (green card holder) or foreign national granted refugee or asylee status due to ITAR regulations.

  • Prior experience with Injection molding machines and CNC

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on machine tools including cleaning, lubrication, filter changing, belt replacement, adjustments, and basic repairs
  • Become more proficient with complex repairs as required
  • Complete occasional CAD projects required within the Facilities and maintenance departments
  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of CMMS program
  • Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department
  • Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization
  • Continually seek to improve processes
  • Comply with all company quality and safety standards
  • Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
