About The Position

ARLANXEO has a new career opportunity available at our Orange, TX manufacturing site for a Maintenance Technician and Maintenance Technician Trainee. Successful candidates will be hired directly by ARLANXEO. Some successful candidates will be hired by a contractor in the Technician Trainee program, which will be used to fill future ARLANXEO Operating Technician vacancies as business and personal performance necessitates. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform maintenance of all mechanical facilities at the site including: equipment repair and alignment, pipe repair, installations and fabrications, equipment preventative and predictive maintenance, and Process Safety Risk Management maintenance programs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree or certificate from an accredited school in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or related field and 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing facility.
  • 3 years of relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of education.
  • Experience is required in an industrial maintenance environment in the repair and maintenance of various forms of equipment including pumps, compressors, and blowers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pipefitting, repair and welding is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mixers, extruders, conveyors, pumps, motors, and other plant machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures and diagnose issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
  • Install, align, and test equipment and machinery as required.
  • Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to ensure consistent operation.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in SAP (CMMS, Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and operational procedures and standards.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support emergency repairs and respond to breakdowns promptly.
