About The Position

Hog Island Oyster Co. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role offers a diverse range of tasks, including working on boats, trucks, trailers, cranes, pumps, refrigeration equipment, and in restaurants. The company is looking for a versatile individual with a "Jack of all trades" mentality, ideally with experience in carpentry, landscaping, plumbing, and auto/boat mechanics. This is a full-time position with a 4-day, 10-hour workday. Requirements

Teamwork
High School degree or equivalent
Valid California Driver's License with a Clean DMV record
Basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing experience
Aptitude for mechanical troubleshooting
Knowledge and understanding of hydraulics

Nice To Haves

Experience in the marine trades
Experience working on a commercial fishing boat
Welding experience
Professional mechanical experience

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on boats, trucks, trailers, cranes, pumps, and refrigeration equipment.
Conduct repairs and maintenance in restaurant settings.
