About The Position

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a well-established manufacturer in the health and beauty industry located in Smyrna, TN. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-speed packaging and production equipment used to produce a variety of consumer products. Requirements

• At least 1 year of mechanical or maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment, or completion of a 2-year technical/trade program in a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and production schedules.
• Proven commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust packaging and production lines for various product runs.
• Monitor machinery performance and perform timely troubleshooting and repairs.
• Clean, flush, and prepare filling systems during product changeovers.
• Calibrate and fine-tune fillers, cappers, and labelers to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
• Perform daily maintenance such as lubrication, belt changes, and basic mechanical adjustments.
• Participate in scheduled preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
